Chicken liver paté. It is delicious. Especially so after drinking much lager. Too much maybe, but who are you lot to judge? Huh? Who among us hasn’t drunk a bundle of Stella, signed up for a script-writing pseudo-competition and eaten toast slathered with chicken liver paté?
Well? Who?
I thought so.
Oooh. It’s very dark in here. I feel all CSIy writing white on black.
When I was a student I used to buy Shippam’s Sardine And Tomato Spread and pretend in was pate. I don’t mean forehead, I hate forehead. I just don’t know how to put the wee wotsit on the e in pate. And I just won’t learn. I could spin out a 25 gram jar to last all week for my supper.

Chicken liver pate (very impressed by your accent egg goo) in my face?!!!!! That sounds like a wife-beating inspired challenge. It scares me a little.
What happened to your sympathy for the chickens?

Clarissa: My sympathy for the chickens only extends to their lifespan. I’m quite happy to scoff them and their delicious livers when they’re dead. Make them happy while they’re alive and they’re more tasty when they’re dead - everyone’s a winner.

Oh - I want chicken liver pate on toast too - NOW! I do hope you slathered it with lashings of butter first. It’s the only way. Glad to hear you are still writing (apart from on here).

Butter? Butter? Dear God, RM, butter? Paté and butter should not mix. Never. Paté and butter do not good bedfellows make. It is wrong. Wrong, I say. Butter? Seriously though, butter? Don’t get me wrong, I like butter, I love it in fact. Just not on the same toast as paté.
